All of our thermal imaging units for 2025 have been awarded. We are honored to have provided this lifesaving equipment to departments in need across the country.

Supporting Police with Advanced Thermal Imaging Technology
The VFR Foundation is proud to support first responders with cutting-edge thermal imaging technology. Through our Thermo Imaging Equipment Grant, we are equipping police officers with the tools they need to enhance safety, improve situational awareness, and save lives.

How to Apply
First responders interested in receiving a thermal imaging unit through the VFR Foundation Thermo Imaging Equipment Grant must complete an application form. Eligible applicants will be considered based on need, impact, and availability of equipment.

Because of this tool, we were able to reach individuals who might otherwise have remained unseen in the freezing conditions.”
