Our Deepest Gratitude
To Our Sponsors
Your support powered the event from start to finish. Because of you, we were able to provide a top-tier experience, recognize our heroes, and channel more funds directly into VFR’s programs. Thank you to our Platinum sponsors, major sponsors, and all levels in between — your commitment makes transformational impact.
To Our Volunteers
From early setup to final tear-down, your tireless energy and dedication drove this event’s success. You greeted guests, managed logistics, ran stations, and ensured everything ran seamlessly. We couldn’t have done this without you.
To Our Golfers & Attendees
Thank you for stepping onto the course, walking each hole, raising your voices, and showing up for our mission. Your enthusiasm, competition, and generosity energized the day and furthered our cause.
What’s Next?
Your support ensures that the VFR Foundation can continue providing essential services to veterans, first responders, and their families. As we move forward:
-
We’ll share updates on how the funds raised are being deployed
-
We’ll stay in touch about next year’s outing — and we hope you’ll mark your calendar early
-
We welcome your ideas and feedback to make future events even more meaningful
From all of us at VFR — and from the communities we serve — thank you for your belief, your presence, and your impact. Together, we are stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to honor those who protect us every day.
The VFR stands for Veterans and First Responders - a direct message to those who we serve.
But to all of us in the organization it is so much more. Our name is an expression of our awe in:
-
The Valor of these men and women.
-
The Freedom they fight and sometimes die for.
-
The Respect they embody - and that we proudly send back in their direction.
Our mission is to create a place where these individuals can recover, relax and rejuvenate - this is how the idea for The VFR Homefront Campus was born. This campus will provide first responders - primarily Police, Fire, Military, Veterans - and their families with unique experiences in the natural environment to help them thrive as individuals and as a part of their communities.
The VFR Homefront will offer service families the opportunity to experience best-in-class programming and therapeutic interventions that help families to stay connected, process trauma, and promote healing and well-being. We will maintain a dedicated focus on mental health services and support such as mental health evaluations, therapy, counseling to address depression/ anxiety, PTSD & much more.
Thank you to our Sponsors

"On behalf of the Summit County Fire Chiefs' Association (SCFCA), we wish to express our gratitude for the generous invitation to attend and participate in your Annual Golf Outing as guests. The opportunity to join you for this event was highly valued by our association members who attended.
We thoroughly enjoyed the day, which was exceptionally well-organized and provided a wonderful chance for fellowship and networking. Your foundation's commitment to supporting the healing and well-being of the men and women of the military and first responders is commendable, and it was a pleasure to celebrate your efforts. Events like these not only raise critical funds but also strengthen the bonds within our community of public service professionals and dedicated supporters.
The hospitality extended to the SCFCA representatives was outstanding, making the experience memorable for everyvne involved. We look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting your mission in the future.
Thank you once again for your kindness and for including us in such a successful and enjoyable day."
- Sincerely, The Executive Board Summit County Fire Chiefs' Association
